Will the glass get covered in black soot when using with LP gas?
All gas fires will produce soot, burnt excess fuel. Over time, this will accumulate on the top of the glass. You can wash the glass in a 50:50 mixture of white vinegar and water to shine them back to looking brand new! Proper installation of an a Propane Air Mixer will help to minimize the amount of soot that accumulates from propane.
