SWAG seeks to transform the way society approaches homelessness by restoring humanity, one person at a time. Our unique model demonstrates that if you first restore confidence, strength, and self-esteem, individuals are better equipped to tackle the road ahead.
For those most vulnerable living on the streets and not necessarily asking for help, we aim to provide services and linkage to substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, and housing stability to achieve independence; an environment that promotes accountability; and a community that offers compassion, support, and hope.
For all with the capacity and desire to serve local government, law enforcement, service providers, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, volunteers, etc.-we seek to engage you in the profound experience of empowering individuals to achieve what once seemed impossible through the seemingly simple acts of taking action and being a part of the solution.
It takes a well-rounded approach to help our neighbors without homes to move toward self-sufficiency.
