We have a Heat and Glo 6 foot wide fireplace. Am interested in the Natural Stones. Trying to figure out how many stone sets I need to order? Thank you.
You will want to confirm that system is fully vented, has a chimney and flu. The lite stones are intended to rest on a bed of small black lava rock and one set covers an approximate area of 15" x 6" x 3".
I’ve purchased 5 boxes of these stones for my fire table. I loved the look until I started using them. They are getting charred and discolored. For the amount of money paid, I would not think this should happen. Is this usual for the product?
Karla, all gas fires will produce some level of soot. To help minimize this, we recommend making sure your burner is fully buried in 2" of small black lava rock.
